Ben Jackson

Born and raised in the Village of Freeport, Ben is a proud graduate of the Freeport Public Schools graduating early at the age of 16 while attending BOCES in the morning, rebuilding floor cleaning equipment in the afternoon and attending school at night. His drive and determination hasn’t faltered.

Ben tirelessly worked after High School, and owns and operates Ben’s General Contracting in Freeport. A local community business that’s been going strong for over 40 years. Ben has been recognized as “Contractor of the Year,” and his company has received numerous awards and recognitions.

When not working, Ben devotes himself to his community. He is a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Village of Freeport, Chairman of the Home Industry Board, President of the Freeport Chamber of Commerce, is a licensed captain and drone pilot. He is a philanthropist,devoting time to helping others who are less fortunate though many charitable ventures.

A proud father of two children, Ben knows what it takes to bring accountably to the Freeport School Board and believes that our, “Children Deserve Better.”
